Different countries have their own unique ways of celebrating New Year. In Philippines, it's customary to scatter coin around one's house to invite good luck and fortune. While in Austria, people melt objects made from lead or tin which is then dropped into a bowl of water as a means of predicting the year ahead. Each participant can submit up to 10 photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the Breaking Boundaries category, is open to all.
