Taking long exposure photographs is a waiting game. Test your patience and show us the wonders this time-tested technique can do.
From hypnotic star trails to cars blurred into neon streaks, long exposure photography can transform everyday scenes into a spectacle. Aside from your trusty camera, all you need is steady hands (or a tripod) and enough patience to freeze the twinkling lights in print. Grab a nice, toasty jacket and focus on the busy freeways and illuminated buildings. Or if you have the time, head to the wilderness and turn your lens upwards to the star-filled sky. Prove to us that good things (or in this case photographs) truly come to those who wait!
Each participant can submit up to 10 photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the "Trial and Error" category, is open to all.
