   is the petzval an actual camera as well as a lens?

   Hi @lomaugustry it is a lens but it is a boss lens like a lamborgini ha ha it really packs a punch Lomo designed it to go on Nikon or Canon mine is on Nikon FE2

   thought so i've seen the kickstarter add and all the lomo hype adds pushing it. the lens is tagged as the camera on this shot. Is it so boss the camera ceases to matter?

   I'd save up for one but I have both a nikon dslr and a canon slr so I'd have to buy the canon one and get an adaptor. Apparently the nikon version won't adapt to fit the canon body but it will work the opposite way.

   @lomaugustry yeah actually the look of the shot has more to do with the Magic created by the Petzval lens like the bokeh etc. i heard that the petzval lens were made to go on digital nikons and canons as well

   They are Yeah but I have both a nikon d3100 and the canon eos film camera so it would be difficult for me to choose between them.
