A certain darkness is needed to see the stars II

This is a Polaroid colour shot of my previous large format Polaroid (which is in BW). I doubled it with "stardust" by lifting a second Polaroid ontop of the first one. Well, well, it was an experiment. I'm not really sure what to think of it as of yet - whether I shall conisder this a failure...But I do know, the scan doesn't do justice to it at all...

Here's the original shot: www.lomography.com/homes/laurasulilly/albums/1979896-a-cert…

I think it turned out beautifully. The lift added mystery and aged the photo a bit. It's fantastic!

@blueskyandhardrock: Thank you Michelle! I just wish I could show it to you guys the way it really looks like because the scan (and particularly the colours) looks different and I like the original way more, to be honest. It also seems to be sharper, even though I don't know why, must be some sort of optical illusion because in real life, you wouldn't get as close to the shot as the scanner does.. Plus, my cat jumped right onto it when it was still wet. Disaster, I'm telling you :)

I think the Lomo website makes the photos sharper that they really are. I think Flickr does something the exact opposite (except in the black box). You may not be as pleased by it but I really love it (funny how that works!). xoxo

@blueskyandhardrock: I see...but I think my picture is even sharper in the original - or at least seems to be, 'cause you don't get as close to it like a scanner does. I noticed that Flickr seems to be decreasing the size of uploaded pictures, they always look so small to me when you click on them. Anyways, thanks a ton for your encouragement!!! :)
