The Phobia Post: Fear of Solitude
written by sirio174 on 2015-10-17It is possible to fear solitude. But of its many forms, I only fear the kind that goes unnoticed, the one you cannot share with other people. Photography, with its end goal of being seen, helps ease this kind of solitude.

Fresh from My Darkroom: Eclipse 2015 in Como
written by sirio174 on 2015-04-05This article is a sad description on how an astronomical event so important passed in almost total indifference to most people in my city. Object of My Affection: Subbuteo
written by sirio174 on 2015-03-30In my early adolescence, I liked to play table football. For my 12th birthday, my parents gifted me with a wonderful Subbuteo table soccer game set that I had wished for many months! This was my favorite toy until I discovered other interesting hobbies, like ham radio and electronics. So after some years, I gave away this game to other kids. I always remembered this game with pleasure and a hint of nostalgia.

My Analogue Bucket List: Faster Than a Speeding Cannonball
written by bloomchen on 2015-01-22The new year is still young, but it seems as if it'll be over quickly. My organizer is already filled with entries until June. 2015 will probably be worse than 2014 when it comes to having time off so I could take some analogue shots. Anyway, there are some photography-related things that I really want to get done. It is probably best to set some goals if I only have very limited time.

written by ichdaschaos on 2014-11-03 #gearI've always wanted to have an instant camera, but what put me off were the expensive price of the film and the transience of the photos. But then I wasn't able to fight it any longer and bought myself an Instax Wide 210 set. Now, here is a review of the Fuji Instax Wide film.

Film Experiments: In The Dark - The True Analogue Experiment
written by mikekumagai on 2014-08-05 #gear #tutorialsThrowing chemicals, fire, and scratching emulsion are just a few ways of experimenting with film. But there's another process that completely destroys it (or, if you're lucky, creates something amazing), that is as spastic as a drunken man staggering his way home after a night at the pub - literally. And it all comes down to darkness.
