«Two masters - two architects»

Monument V.I. Bazhenov and M.F. Kazakov (sculptor Leonid Baranov) opened on September 1, 2007, on the lawn between the Grand Palace and Bread house Museum Tsaritsino.
The sculptural composition consists of figures of famous artists, mounted on two round pedestals on which is written in large letters: "Vasily Bazhenov — the architect — Matvei Kazakov". Masters are shown at the time of discussion of the project of construction of the Palace, testifies to the layout of an unfinished building, which is located between the sculptures. Matthew is depicted with his hat under his arm and a sword, and Basil - with folded drawings in his hands.
