In mei was ik een week in Lissabon en ik werd meteen stapelverliefd op de stad. Ik was er nooit eerder geweest en toen ik aankwam, viel me meteen op dat elke straathoek een kleine juweeltje is. Alle muren die de bewoners van Lissabon elke dag zien, alle straten die ze bewandelen, en alle winkels waar ze heen gaan – ze maakten een erg goede indruk op me. Niets is te groot, te opzichtig of te veel. Het is net of alles is bedekt met een zachte en verlegen schoonheid.

In May, I spent a week in Lisbon and totally fell in love with the city. I've never been there before and since I arrived, I immediately noticed that every corner of the street was a little treasure. All the walls that Lisbon people see everyday, all the streets they walk on, and the shops that they go to, left a really good impression on me. Nothing is too big, too showy, or too much. It's like everything is covered by a soft, shy, beauty.

The Berlengas Island is located on the Atlantic Ocean at 11Km (seven miles) of the city of Peniche, Portugal. The Berlenga Island is a part of the Berlengas archipelago which is composed by a group of very small islands: Islet of Farilhões, Islets of Estrelas (stars), Islet of Forcadas and Berlengas Island.
The Island is small: 1.5K (approximately one mile) by 800 meters (half a mile) by 85 meters high, you can visit the whole island in a day.
The Island is made out of beautiful rose granite and in the spring and summer it is covered by beautiful flowers.

Ericeira is a fisherman village placed in the cliffs facing the Atlantic and surrounded by beaches that attract both surfers and tourists. It is located 35km northwest from Lisbon. The cliffs where it stands provide great views of the Atlantic ocean and the magnificent sunsets over the sea.
