Recently I have been spending less and less time on Lomography and taking photos in general. I am scared I have lost my mojo and I think I know why that might be. I am point my finger at one person and that person is . . . . Diana.
-
So Adam (@nicolas_noir) decided we ought to have another northern meet up on 4 Feb but aside from that no details have been arranged. A few people have messaged me asking me the plan and despite not wanting to get involved after the disaster of last time - here I am again!
-
So guys, since the lovely lomo meeting in York in July (well I thought it was lovely. . . . ), nobody has got their arses into gear and organised another one. This is a poor show and I have decided to take matters into my own hands as I think 1 northern meet-up every six months should be mandatory (until the Galery store in Manc blows my little shindigs out of the water!)
-
So I was going to join in on Mephisto's rumble and write about who I think the ten best lomographers on this site are, but I know the same names will come up over and over again (deservedly so), and I don't want to be the same as everyone else. Instead I have decided to write about my own personal top ten. They are all people I am friends with on lomo but this has somehow also spilled into everyday life. They are not just ten people I like, but ten of my favourite examples of how lomography brings folk together.
-
This is a list of all the people who came to York on Saturday. Thought I would do this in case you all want to make friends on here. Unless you hated everyone. . . . .
-
So to say I am disappointed right now is a massive understatement - I just nearly cried a bit in Asda (and it wasn't because they had run out of Bucks Fizz).
-
So I am just trying to put the feelers out for a Northern meet up at the moment and have been discussing ideas with a few other members and obviously we need to get a move on fairly fast with dates/times etc if people are going to have to make arrangements to get here and stuff.

I wasn't going to do a blog entry relating to a happy accident I have had. But as it is blog day today here at lomography, and I have had a lomowall about my happy accident for several months now, I thought I would tell you all the story of how it happened.
-
I am getting a bit peed off with people who keep claiming that a lot of the rumbles (especially the blog related ones) are just popularity contests and below is my argument as to why this is not the case at all.

This is the story of a time when I was happy to have a spare roll of film or 2 on me, and ended up needing them when I didn't even have an analogue camera!
-
I knew it was a risk buying a second hand LC-A off ebay but after my first roll came out blank and replacing the batteries didn't seem to help and the LEDs didn't light up I thought I was doomed.

Today I have received a mysterious package.

I am very very excited today having just purchased a Lomo LC-A online.

This is my new years resolution for 2011!

This is the story of how me and Lomo became best pals.
