Trying street phtography

2

I read on the net that good street photography follows 5 rules:

1. does not offend the people, it shows
2. has geometric design
3. repects the rights of the person being phtographed, either you get the confirmation for taking the picture, or you can not directly recognize the person
4. has an appealing optic
5. the picture tells a story

If I use those criteria for my work, I would split my pictures like below.

Lets start with the bad examples.

1. Technically imperfect, or even unusable

2. Pictures, that don’t tell a story

The better examples still do not fully comply to all rules above.

And then, there are some left, which I think fit best to the rules mentioned above.

From the experience, I gained so far, I can truly say, you need a lot of practice, to get good street photography shots.

What do you think?

I think that street photography must contain at least one thing: the humanity of the moment
