Happenings on Film : Persib Bandung, the champion of Indonesian Super League football 2014

I’m writing this with emotionally tears of happines in my eyes. How couldn’t I? After last time being Indonesian football league champion in 1994 – 1995 season, finally my favorite football club, Persib Bandung are being the champion of Indonesian Super League 2014 after beat Persipura Jayapura Papua on penalty shoot-out at Jakabaring stadium, Palembang, South Sumatera, November 7th, 2014.

Watching the final of Indonesian Super League 2014 between Persib Bandung vs Persipura Jayapura Papua at my maternal grandmom’s home in Bekasi, suburb near Jakarta but the area of Jawa Barat (West Java) province, I’m very melancholic, sad and despair. At my 29 years old age I’m recently went to the computer test of civil servant for tourism department of Indonesia. With my dad who’s driving on car from Bandung to Ciracas, Jakarta Timur, the place of test, also accompanied by my mom, my parent are very hoping I’m accepted as a civil servant after 7 years being an unemployee and last year officially drop out from master degree of communication of universitas padjajaran Bandung. In my heart I actually want to work in tourism field because I thought I will get an opportunity to visit many beautiful place in Indonesia but my heart also denial if I should work in Jakarta. The inconvinient, materialistic, individualistic and not friendly atmosphere that very belong to Jakarta is killing me, eventhough I;m very individualist and anti-social person also very materialistic man but the warm, the happinest, the love, full of humor atmosphere of my lovely hometown Bandung made me don’t want to move from Bandung except for couple of day holiday and adventure at some other place. I pray about that to God and I’m asking for the best for me. I’m just surprised when I get the last rank of 59 people who join the test of civil servant but also happy because this is God answer. I’m happy I’m not being a civil servant but also have to trying hard again find a real job. But my dad is very angry. As usual he speak cinycally to me. My mom try to calm down the situation but my dad get more angry. From Wednesday night until Fiday night is just like the horrible long time in Jakarta and my maternal grandmom’s home in Bekasi. Since that periode time me and my dad didn’t talk each other. My dad is so childish precisely just like me, the loser anti-social 29 years old man who still live with my parent. Until the final football match of Persib Bandung vs Persipura Jayapura Papua on tv, magically we scream and happy together after Persib win the best and the hardest match this season. I remember the first time my dad took me to the stadium Siliwangi, Bandung to watch Persib match in 1989. That’s my first Persib moment eventhough I haven’t understand about football yet but always on my mind and made me love Persib till I die. After took my little sister who work in Jakarta, me, my dad, my mom and my little sister went back to Bandung at 10 P.M. and came in Bandung at 12 A.M. There were crazy parade in town because of Persib being the champion of Indonesian Super League 2014.

And more crazy after Persib squad arriving at Husein Sastranegara airport. All along the road from the airport until the Sidolig stadium, old and legend historical art deco architectural stadium which first used by Persib at Dutch colonial era under 1942, being the ocean of blue jersey which wore by Bobotoh, Persib fanatic supporter. Elder man and woman, superbeautiful M.I.L.F., little girl and boy all of the mall, office and home all along that route are go outside to see our champion heroes.

Get a historical moment, I can’t catch that moment very well because the weather was suddenly dark. It’s the early November and started to rainy season in Bandung after only two month at this year we only felt very hot dry season. It’s a disaster for my only Kodak EBX because I only love it’s x-pro color on a sun shining bright light situation. But I have to snap this historical moment, no matter how. I set the apeture 5.6 and shutter speed 1/60. Maybe that’s why many photo are overexposure (?) When the best player at final when Ferdinand Sinaga, passed by right in front of me and say hi by the car window. Some of player are picking by car because the bus is fully loaded by some other player who bring their wife and kids in final match.

Chasing Persib bus player like crazy, I didn’t know where is their last place to go. Definitely it’s impossible for me to chase the bus by running, Stupide me hahaha T_T beside I haven’t have a lunch and dzuhur prayer. So When the bus run very fast after jalan (road) Wastukantjana, I decide to went to the mosque to pray because tomorrow on Sunday there will be a real winner parade party. Can you imagine, this is just “welcoming” our champion and the city is stop moving by hundred thousand of Bobotoh Persib!!!!!

Like I said before, the party were celebrate 3 night 3 day, since we win the league on Thursday night until the Sunday night. The landmark of Bandung, Gedung Sate were already very crowded in the morning. All of Bobotoh (supporter) not only from Bandung, but also from many region in Jawa Barat (West Java) also in some city in Indonesia like Jakarta, Sumatera island and Kalimantan island came to made the city stop moving =)

For me, this is my private record because I’m standing in front of the stage waiting the player for celebration since 10 A.M until 9 P.M. at very hot sun and then heavy rain in the afternoon. It’s all for get as close as possible to my hero

Thanks God finally all of the player came to the stage eventhough it’s already night and we’re very hungry because there are no food stall there because like I said, the city is stop moving. All of the food stall food and beverage are sold out by hundred thousand of Bobotoh Persib. Back to the Persib player, they look tired but very happy. When they hold together I snap them with my Annie (my Lubitel 166+ name) but it’s hard to keep freeze at this situation, beside I only have a redscale film for my Annie. Many thanks for @kikifrenger who gave me this film as an exchange with empty canister =) It’s very helpful in my hard economic situation.

Hey hey hey, let’s prepeare for this historical moment, when the major Ridwan Kamil kiss the Indonesian Super League trophy, all of the camera are snap to him including me. But again my result are very poor T_T

Makan Konate, our middfielder from Mali, Africa, which actually the real best player along this season are the most player to hunt his signature by Bobotoh. Unfortunately the marker are empty when it turn to my hoodied to be signed by him T_T Actually it’s unofficial sign session because all of the Bobotoh in front of the stage became crazy and throw their shirt to the stage and scream at the player to sign it. Haha I did it too, normally I’m a shy and passive man, but that night I scream at Persib hero like crazy and I got sign from Taufiq, Defensive Midfielder. Not bad for this historical moment.
