Lomography Awards: Breaking Boundaries: Beyond the Landmark

On your next travel, go against the grain and turn your camera lens away from those famed landmark.
For this challenge, we're looking for unconventional images of recognizable structures around the world. Instead of photographing them straight on, try unusual angles (lay on the cobblestones if you must!) or use foregrounds for a dramatic effect. Focus on the stories of the locals who take pride in them and the tourists mesmerized by the grandeur of these historic structures. Or if you're feeling a bit bold, follow what Oliver Curtis did for his quirky Volte Face series and turn your lenses on the opposite direction.
Each participant can submit up to 10 photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the Breaking Boundaries category, is open to all.
